this candle is dedicated to our sister rose, nephew milo, and brother-in-law AJ.
 
rose’s story:
 
"​I still don't have the words to describe how deeply sad Milo and I are by the loss of our best friend, daddy and husband. AJ struggled in silence, walking the earth dimming the light inside of himself for others. He was terrorized by his own mind, never allowing himself to see the love + light that was shining towards him by so many.
 
For 1,529 days I've woken up alone and without my person. I've woken up for one reason, that being our son; Milo. My whole soul goes into raising Milo to have a voice, to share his feelings without fear, to shed his tears without judgement, to open his arms wide to those who need it, and to lean into the love + light that surrounds him. I wake with the hopes that Milo will see he is a Survivor of Suicide and that his daddy is and always will be our hero!
 
During the week of May 27th - May 31st I will be participating in #CAMHSunriseChallenge. I will wake up early, enjoy the sunrise, and know that the rays shining down are my beloved.
